This short series investigates how the figure of the Christian nation is imagined by Christians in Christian-minority contexts.

Drawing on ethnography from Cambodia and Myanmar, contributors discuss how, against the background of Buddhism, the desires and disappointments of Christian nationalism work to map personal on to political salvation.
